Ways How To Write Blog Articles Faster And Better

Blogging has become a way in which many people have found they can make a living. Some sell things online and others get paid to write blog posts and articles for others. Still other bloggers do both. They work on their own website and blog in their spare time and make a living blogging as their day job.

If you’re writing blog posts for a living, you’re going to have to do a lot of writing to make any money at it. You may find yourself writing up to a hundred articles a week. If you’re stuck for ideas, you’re going to have a hard time making your quotas!

Different assignments call for different angles. Sometimes you’re asked to write a number of articles on a single subject. Since you’ll have to spend an hour or so researching the subject, having a lot of articles to write is a bonus, because you only have to do the research once. If you have to write about various types of scrapbooking papers, you don’t want to have to waste time doing research unless you’re going to get a lot of income for your efforts!

If you’re given a very technical assignment, but they only want a single article, consider turning it down. It may not be worth your time to learn about the technology behind a digital sport watch, for instance. If you are only asked to write about what a handsome watch it is, that can be done in a time efficient manner, though.

Some writers prefer to have to do all that fact gathering because facts give them ideas. If they’re given a vague assignment, they can’t think of a thing to say. How, for example, can you write 500 words about a black helmet? White helmets are white, black ones are black. End of story. How can you turn that into 500 words?

If you’re a technical writer, try to write a few non-technical articles. Turn off that part of your brain that tells you you’ve got to get the facts and let your feelings flow. White helmets are for chicks, black for bikers. That’s probably not universally true, but if it’s your angle, go for it! Aesthetics are always subjective, so your article won’t be rejected.

If you’re a creative writer stuck with a technical article, just get as many facts as you need to give your article authority and fill in the rest with fluff. Blog articles aren’t meant to be textbooks, so don’t overdo it. You owe it to your employer to take your work seriously, but you’re not going to win any prizes for your posts, so don’t take it too seriously. Make it fun and you’ll be far more productive!
